Research focus

  • Identification of genetic disorders detected in the neonatal period.
  • Pharmaco-kinetics of drugs in pre-clinical and clinical studies: development of mass spectrometric methods for drugs detection, determination of drugs concentrations in biological fluids, calculation of the pharmaco-kinetic parameters.

Main scientific results

  • Methods of mass spectrometry determining for warfarin, warfarin alcohol and hydroxy warfarins in plasma samples of patients taking warfarin were developed and preliminary pharmaco-kinetics studies of warfarin metabolism were carried.
  • Pharmaco-kinetic studies of metabolism of warfarin complex with arabinogalactan were carried out.
  • Mass spectrometry method of amino acids quantification in ready meals (soups) has been optimized.
  • Mass spectrometry methods of determining of nifedipine, glimepiride, alpha lipoic acid and a new antiviral drug NIOC-14 have been developed.
  • The influence of genotype Vkorc1 on the pharmacokinetics of warfarin metabolism in the West Siberian populations of Caucasian ethnicity was determined.
